British Dragonfly Society
Come along and explore this wetland reserve on the edge of Reading. Created in 2001, it has attracted 17 species of dragonflies and damselflies, including small red eyed damselfly, black tailed skimmer hairy dragonfly and beautiful demoiselle. this wak is part of the wild about reading programme of events the walk will be on a mix of gravel grassy paths. please wear stout footwear and appropriate clothing, close focus binoculars would be useful to
meet in the small carpark off Island Road (opposite the Reading Recycling centre)
